Itineraries

Day 1

Nairobi to Tsavo East

Pick up from the hotel at 7 am. After breakfast we will drive to Tsavo East National Park. The eastern part of the park was formed many millennia ago by volcanic activity and consists of more than half of Tsavo. Game drive on the way to your accommodation for overnight.

Day 2

Tsavo East

Full day spent exploring the park. Morning and afternoon game drives are offered. Dinner and overnight stay at Voi Safari Lodge. The landscape in Tsavo East is flatter and drier, despite having one of Kenya’s largest rivers flowing through the middle. Much of the wildlife is concentrated on the Galana River, which has plentiful crocs and hippos. Likewise, Kudus, waterbucks and dik-diks are common along the river banks. In the period from late October to early January, the park is a paradise for birdwatchers, because then many migratory birds are in Tsavo East.

Day 3

Tsavo East to Amboseli National Park

Breakfast at the lodge, check out and drive to Amboseli National Park which is famous for its scenery with a backdrop of snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro, which dominates the landscape and open plains. Arrive with more game drive proceeding to your lodge for check in, time for lunch, check at the lodge. Have lunch and a short rest. Afternoon game drive in search of its popular residents like the well known predictors and their opponents like the Zebra, Wildebeest, Giraffe, Hippo with a view of Mt. Kilimanjaro.

Day 4

Amboseli National Park

After breakfast at the lodge, full day spend in the park with packed lunch in search of its popular residents like the well known predators an their opponents like the Zebra, Wildebeest, Giraffe, Hippo with a view of Mt. Kilimanjaro. Later return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 5

Amboseli National Park to Tsavo West

After an early breakfast depart for Tsavo West National Park which lies roughly half way between Nairobi and the Coast. Mzima Springs, the chief marvel here is a favorite haunt of hippos and crocodiles. Arrival at your Lodge will be in time for lunch. An early evening game drive to see large herds of elephants, buffalo, common waterbuck, eland, rhino and wide variety of antelope. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 6

Tsavo West

Tsavo West offers viewing of some of the most beautiful wildlife in the world. At a game drive you will see cheetahs, leopards, giraffes, elephants, waterbucks, tops, eland antelopes, gazelles, etc. and hundreds of species of birds. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 7

Departure to Nairobi/Mombasa

This day marks the end of your safari. Depending on the time of your flight, you can take an early morning game drive around the park. Later, leave for Nairobi/Mombasa from where you will dropped off at the airport or for beach vacation.
