Itineraries

Day 1

Arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport

On this day you arrive in Kenya and your 8 days safari begins. On arrival at Airport, our driver will receive you and take you to your designated hotel for an overnight and dinner.

Day 2

Nairobi - Maasai Mara

Pick up from the hotel at 7 am. After breakfast and commence we drive to Maasai Mara via the Great Rift Valley view point where you will have a breathtaking view of the floor of the rift valley. Arriving in time for lunch. After lunch depart for an afternoon game viewing drive in the Mara Reserve. Return back to the camp/lodge for a sumptuous buffet dinner ending with good time for resting at the lodge/camp. Maasai Mara Reserve is the most popular tourism destination in Kenya. Located in the Great Rift Valley in primarily open grasland. Wildlife ist most concentrated on the reserve´s western escarpment. Its regarded as the jewel of Kenya´s wildlife viewing areas. The annual wildebeest´s migration alone involves over 1,5 million animals arriving in July and departing in November. Hardly can a visitor miss to spot the big five. The phenomenal wildebeest migration which is a spectacular event only seen in Maasai Mara is one of the wonder of the world.

Day 3

Maasai Mara

Spend the full day exploring Maasai Mara in search of the Big Five. You will have picnic lunches in the Reserve as you scale the Mara beauty sited at the banks of Mara River. Optional: In the evening visit the local Maasai Village for a Maasai cultural tour. Learn about the Maasai community and interact with the local Maasai people. A overnight at the Maasai village can be organized upon request. A Balloon safari can be organized early morning on this day, then proceed with the normal program. It is in the Mara that perhaps the most spectacular event of the natural world takes place: the great migration. This is the annual migration of millions of wildebeest an zebra from the Serengeti (Tanzania) in search of water and pasture. Following on their heels are the predators of the savanna – lions, cheetahs, jackals, hyenas and vultures.

Day 4

Lake Nakuru National Park

Breakfast at the camp and thereafter proceed for a game viewing. Later check out and drive to Lake Nakuru arriving in time for lunch. After lunch proceed for an afternoon game viewing in the park.

Day 5

Lake Naivasha - Hell´s Gate National Park

You will have an early breakfast and depart by 7 am to straight to the park. It´s a small park with magnificent rare white rhinos which form part of the Big Five animals. There is also a possibility to see the pink flamingos. The game drive lasts 3 hours, after which you depart on a 3-hour-drive back to Naivasha to arrive in time for lunch at hotel. After lunch you will go to hell´s gate for biking safari. If you are too tired you will be driven in the park with a car. You will later go for an hour boat ride on Lake Naivasha for bird watching and hippo viewing.

Day 6

Amboseli National Park

Breakfast at the lodge, check out and drive to amboseli National Park which is famous for its scenery with a backdrop of snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro, which dominates the landscape and open plains. Arrive with more game drive proceeding to your lodge for check in, time for lunch, check at the lodge. Have lunch and a short rest. Afternoon game drive in search of its popular residents like the well known predators and their opponents like the Zebra, Wildebeest, Giraffe, Hippo with a view of Mt. Kilimanjaro.

Day 7

Amboseli National Park

After breakfast at the lodge, full day spend in the park with packed lunch in search of its popular residents like the well known predators an their opponents like the Zebra, Wildebeest, Giraffe, Hippo with a view of Mt. Kilimanjaro. Later return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 8

Departure to Nairobi

This day marks the end of your safari. Depending on the time of your flight, you can take an early morning game drive around the park. Later, leave for Nairobi from where you will dropped off at the airport.
